Who is responsible?

Transmutex SA is the controller responsible for the processing described in this policy.

What information do we collect and why?

When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and message. If you provide your company name, we collect it as well. Your enquiry is emailed to info@transmutex.com.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry and manage related correspondence. Providing it is voluntary, but we need the required fields to receive and respond to your request.

Our website is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. Technical information is also processed to deliver the website, diagnose problems and maintain security.

Who receives your information, and where?

Access is limited to Transmutex personnel who need to handle your enquiry and the providers involved in operating our website and email services.

We use Infomaniak for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email. Our Exchange Online email data is stored at rest in Switzerland.

Microsoft also carries out certain service, security and support operations internationally. Storage in Switzerland does not mean that all processing takes place there.

We may disclose personal data where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as necessary to address your request and manage any resulting relationship. We also consider applicable legal retention obligations and the need to retain evidence for legal claims. We delete or irreversibly anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

What legal grounds apply?

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating secure services, under Article 6(1)(f); taking steps towards a contract with you at your request, under Article 6(1)(b); or complying with applicable legal obligations, under Article 6(1)(c).

What are your rights?

Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or data portability.

Where the GDPR applies, you may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests.

You may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner at www.edoeb.admin.ch. Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
